A Private Tea Ceremony in Tokyo

Every experience is Unique
At Ichika, we specialize in sharing the way of tea with visitors from around the world. We believe the soul of the ceremony, ichigo ichie (一期一会) — "one time, one meeting" — is a universal concept. Our mission is to create a welcoming space for you to connect with this beautiful tradition in a language you are comfortable with.
We don't just see you as a customer; we welcome you as a new friend. To make your experience truly personal, we bring this timeless tradition to a location convenient for you.
Your Private Journey into the Way of Tea
In a tranquil, private tea room selected in your chosen area of Tokyo, our time together will unfold at a gentle, unhurried pace. Your host will explain everything in English, so you can relax and be present.
